Jokers Come out to play

Your simple task is this.

Have the best Poker hand at the end of the event to win !!


HOW IT WILL WORK

Spoiler

• There will eventually be 104 regular playing cards (2 decks) hidden throughout the forums.
• The 2 decks are "Yellow Minions" and "Evil Minions"
• 10-12 cards will be hidden somewhere in the forums daily (they will not be hard to find)
• These cards will be released no later than 08:00 CC Time, over a period of 10 days
• The new Scavenger cards to find will be announced in this forum daily
• The previous days cards will be removed from the forums at around that same time (DELETED DUE TO LATE STARTING TIME)
• Any previously *POSTED cards can still be acquired via either the Chat Rooms or Global (look out for the instant events)
• To narrow your search, there are a few forums OMITTED (See below, "Where To Look")
• An additional 5 JOKER CARDS, will be hidden deep inside the forums and will remain for the Event
• Jokers can be substituted into your hand, (If you find one, or five and are able to keep them)
• Picture Cards (Jack, Queen, King) will also include clues to the JOKER locations

NOTE:

• You cannot submit, in your final hand of 7, the same card from different decks
  IE: you can't have the Yellow Minion Ace Hearts and the Evil Minion Ace Hearts in your final hand

THE PLAY OFF GAMES

Spoiler

• Will begin soon after the time is up for scavenging
• These will be in the form of a one game Auto Tourney, with a Credit Prize for the winner attached.
• Game/s format will be RANDOM, ESC, CHAINED, SUNNY, 20 ROUNDS

JOKER PLAY OFFS

• Only 1 person can hold each of the Jokers.
• There will be a playoff to see who holds the right to "own" the JOKER.

As at the end of Scavenging, all people who hold the same joker will be entered into a respective battle game/s (if required).

SCOREBOARD PLAY OFFS

• Will commence after all JOKERS are decided
• Those who "TIE" (have the same hand), on the scoreboard will also play off
• Scoreboard positions will be determined by who is eliminated last to first in the respective game/s

(If any Freemium members have trouble with open slots for these playoffs, contact me, and I will sort that for you... its Christmas )

I was trying to avoid an avalanche of PMs during the festive period, it is my busy time at work, but I kinda see what you are saying, it may be hard for some people.
What about I will change things to accept ONE DAILY PM with your DAILY results, that I will log into a spreadsheet, and ALSO accept 1 final PM with your final hand results.
It will be up to you whether you submit a daily or wait till the end.

There is an issue with the Forums format.
Wham and KA are putting a lot of time into this to sort it. It should be a case of just turning on a setting, but our forums are basically saying "NO !!"

Wham is going to have 1 final look into the issue, we have made some progress but the integrity of the Site and its Forums will always come before an End of year Event.
I am ready to go, but will not be able to run this event if a solution to our problem cannot be found.

Thank you all for your patients, this as with many new ideas that we throw at Wham has in turn thrown up a lot of other issues that need to be sorted.

Raz... you can still make it ordinary scavenger hunt. No need to put all 102 cards in the threads. Make your own hands (like 10 of them) and each day just hide a new hand somewhere. Jokers would be hidden as well, but they're practically a separate scavenger hunt. So whoever finds the best pre-defined hand wins. After all, there are no jokers in texas hold-em... Classic scavenger...

We have had success.
I cannot thank Wham enough for his efforts in fixing the issues with the forums.
His FIX/HACK solution works and has been tested.
Unfortunately these things take some time when I live as the ass end of the world, I am awake when Wham was asleep and visa versa
Wham would change something, ask me to test it, then I reply.. 1 day passes for every attempt.
