Through page 12. Revoking town read on Buj. Changing it back to neutral. Reasoning. He said something that suggested that he knew a bit about wild pokemon beyond what anyone other than wild pokemon or team rocket would be expected to know at that point but has since played a bit of a doubters on whether TR is in the game which is a bit of an odd angle to play as a wild pokemon. Not quite enough for me to lean scum on him yet but enough to note my changed opinion.

I doubt Exile is a wild pokemon. It is difficult to believe that he could be without his win con for as long as he was and not realize something was wrong earlier. He could still be a non-Rocket trainer or starter pokemon.

About Mets: I am trying to avoid most of the ugliness here but I don't think it can be completely ignored, so I will try to keep this about his play. Prior to calling out the mod, I can't think of much of anything he has added to the game and saying he is here to" play the players" is a bit of a farce when you don't contribute much of anything. Since then, not much more.

Actually, I was claimed before D1 officially started, during the confirm phase. I already confirmed and then was notified of a plot twist. My trainer had to choose one Pokemon from the list while not knowing who is playing behind it. That's how I got chosen, I guess it could have been any of the other wild ones. And I'm pretty sure there other trainers and other claimed pokemons just not wanting to reveal that fact.

As to his "I quit" shenanigans, you read the thread. If he seriously thinks this game is so unwinnable for him when Mandy interferes and confirms so little, he can't be town right?

I never made any argument about how this affects my winning chances. The argument was about the principle of the matter that I don't like it when this stuff happens, as is the case for most mafia players. (If anything having a player cleared by the mod helps my winning chances as town.)

I said the mere fact that he had a tantrum is not alignment-indicative; that doesn't mean the contents of said tantrum are not alignment-indicative. I think that they are in this case -- we all questioned why Tim would claim with like six votes on him. This explains that fact.

No, my role is Wild Pokemon, but 2 days later I got another role that I was claimed and that I can't no more attack or defend - that will my trainer decide. That's why I believe mitch is Mets pokemon and that's why I unvoted him. More pairs to be found though...

Because it is our priority to hang Team Rocket members and fight with Pokemons at night. And actually there is not much difference between you and me, you claimed Wild pokemon as well, just didn't said you were claimed. Maybe you were claimed by TR and that's why you don't want to confess?

I knew it, I was just trying not to give away all the info I had in my PM straight off in day 1 . But here we are spelling out literally everything so I expect tonight to be an orgiastic festival of pokemon death and/or catching. I will say that I don't know if I've been told all the pokemon types or not, however, as I believe mitch alluded to earlier.

If I am to speculate, then there are number of trainers and they got their pokeballs to throw at wild pokemons during night. So my speculation is that TR will catch another pokemon tonight, regardless if their first one is hanged or not. So if you think Mitch is their pokemon, which looks like it, I think we should hang him. I was hooked on mitch whole game due to his strange behavior and meta, so you could be correct. After all, you don't want TR to have 2 captured pokemons, do you?

mitch is just being careless as usual. We Wild Pokemon were told how many types there were (i.e. Fire), but mitch interpreted that to mean that there were only five Wild Pokemon. I actually made the same mistake when I first read my role PM.

I was theorising based on what we know that Ash would start with Pikachu (electric), Brock with geodude (ground) and misty staryu (water)

Gary doesn't have a Pokemon in particular in the anime and Team rockets Pokemon are poison ones and I am not convinced poison Pokemon in the game so they could have easily recruited dakky from the wild Pokemon.

Lynching mitch under the idea that he is a team rocket recruited pokemon is the same as Lynching any other cult recruit. It makes sense as a back up lynch but we should at least discuss who are the possible cult recruiters before aiming at the recruits as Lynching recruits only delays the inevitable.

Whilst I am spouting accusations out there I am starting to think dakky might be Gary's starter Pokemon choice, just the way Masket voted immediately gives me the impression this isn't a generic trainer mechanic..

However I couldn't give two shits about Gary even if he has some other win cons thrown out there involving trainers. The goal is to catch team rocket so I would like to hear from Nark for saying he was never told the types of Pokemon.

Most of us know about at least five types but I am going to guess there is another type out there who doesn't play to the same roles out there and may not know about the strengths and weaknesses of each type, the normal type..

That is not what mitch was referring to. Mitch made a mistake and thought that his PM meant that there were only X wild pokemon in the game, not X types of wild pokemon. He was just saying he doesn't know how many wild pokemon are in the game.

Also, we can infer from Dakky's claim and the way that Mandy worded the role PM that X is the total number of types of pokemon in the game. If we take Dakky's claim to be true, then trainers don't get a pokemon automatically, but on night 0 they were able to choose one as their starter. This means every pokemon in the game started off as wild and some got "captured". The only unknown factor would be Meowth since he technically was neither wild nor owned in the show.

In his PM, I believe Mandy made it unquestionably clear that X is the number of wild pokemon. The fact that you said you don't know that makes me very suspicious.

I'm an idiot. I see what you mean now. I still don't see why it precludes you cl;aiming another pokemon of the listed types, however. Also, if trainers already have a pokemon (the prevailing theory I believe) then they presumably already have this info, although i suppose maybe they can't talk yet.

I never said I was not told ANYTHING. I said I didn't know how many other types of Pokemon there were... I know what I am strong and weak against... I know I am weak against two and strong against two types... But, does that mean that there are only five types? That was not directly written in my PM...

I am certainly not a trainer... And no, I am not Meowth... -------- I just posted a really awesome hint, but decided to delete it because too many of you know about Pokemon and I have no desire to be killed on Night One... Though, any of us are dead if enough of the other players attack us.

Which actually brings up a good point... We have the option of not only lynching someone, but having enough players band together to attack another target at night, essentially making it two kills per cycle... While that would most likely not work due to trainer powers and liars, it is at least something to consider...

This day is dragging on SO LONG.... A consensus must be made soon so that we can progress the game... Only so much can be learned on Day 1 and I, for one, would like to see the results.
