I don't have Netflix streaming, but I do have the dvd service. Last Thursday I sent in the dvd I had out and got all excited because I saw GoT season 5 was available.

I returned home from out of town this weekend and saw the dvd I was supposed to have sent in sitting on the shelf. I sent in something else in the sleeve. At first I thought it was my copy of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure cuz I was watching that. Nope, it was my copy of Skyrim, which I had left out.

Damn. Now I gotta send in the Netflix dvd and wait longer to get GoT. I doubt I'll get my Skyrim back, too.

Why do I suck so much...?

the last time I used the DVD service, I had sent a dvd to my gf...who then broke up with me and never actually returned the dvd, forcing me to pay for it

Worse happened to me. I had some boarders at one point, and one of them borrowed my copy of Dante's Peak to take to his girlfriend's house. Well, they had a big fight that night and she threw him out, and the asshole forgot the tape, and then he was too chickenshit to go back there and get it. I kept bugging him but he kept putting it off, and the long and the short of it was I never did get it back.

Apparently Netflix was already on it. I got an email today saying they got my disc and they're sending it back. I just assumed the sleeve gets scanned and nobody actually checks.

Actually, I don't have internet anymore except through my phone, and when I did have it I got tired of the streaming service.

I've been trying to reduce my time spent watching tv anyway, as it's not very productive, so the dvd service is a win-win. Better selection of old movies and I only get one disc at a time.

I have to agree...streaming on a phone is not the business...and the online service gets old quick...i usally keep it for a month or 2 then cancel for a month or 2. My son was mad at me because he got me hulu+ for my birthday and all i watch is Ridiculousness
