All games for the first map in each group of round one are up, invites sent out. Sorry for sending 10 games at once guys but it would have been a massive bookkeeping headache to do it any other way. As it is I'm amazed that I seemingly didn't screw anything up (jinx!). Since these games are all foggy some of you may wonder about my stance on the so-called "12-hour fog rule" that's not really a rule. If you're up first and you wanna give your opponents a chance to take snapshots that's very noble of you, but if not you'll suffer no recriminations or penalties from me. Honestly I'd prefer it if whoever is up first got started right away, we've got a lot of games to get through! Also one of the reasons for the large game load in the first place is to minimize the effects of drop luck and who goes first, hopefully it will all even out over the course of each of your ten games. Also an important point was brought up by [player]Gen. Ramsarelli[/player]. If you have someone sitting your account they should still notify everyone in the game what's going on with a simple "player x for Gen. Ramsarelli" message. I'm pretty sure unannounced account sitting is frowned upon by the mods. Anyway if your account sitter simply announces he's sitting, and you announce when you're back (in the minimum amount of words) you won't be penalized for that.

We have our first completed game. Congratulations to fairman for winning Game 9719698 in an impressive 5 rounds, and on one of the larger maps we're using too! I only checked because I was hoping my paulie kill in Game 9719742 would be the first one but alas, I'll have to settle for second place as usual. When there's more to report and I get back to work mid-week I'll get a scoreboard up on the first page.
