I'm just curious what people think specifically about the algorithm on CC. Is it good? Bad? Realistic? Problematic?

Missed turns suck, but they happen.
FYI the suggestion of KOing a player for 3 total missed turns, rather than consecutive missed turns, is on the list of rejected suggestions.
Also how would you take into account this rule for a game that has gone 100+ rounds and spanned 4 months which for some ...

BOB really slows down the gameplay for me, 2sec delays for almost every input, is this normal?

My suggestion would be to let the player starting the game choose either a time or number of rounds after which the game would automatically become a casual game.
