With half the groups to climb in the new configuration, we don't need the large numbers of players flying up/down the ranks like we did with 25+ leagues.

I've had the honor of actually playing in the Premier League a few times and have seen the 20-team format up close. I like it better. More variance in opponents. Honestly, though, it is not a huge "yes". It is not like playing in the 10-team format is not enjoyable as well.
